Currently in planning, this collaboration with Lynch Architects and muf architecture/art as part of Hackney Councils Housing Supply Programme comprises infill residential blocks between 1960s tower and flats framing new public realm.

The radical change to the setting of the existing 1960s blocks – the tower is currently ‘islanded’ by sunken ground levels that limit access to a single bridge – positively connects the existing community with the new public realm and improves permeability and access through and around the site.  The external spaces range from a classic square with projected stage, space for café seating, lush planting and large trees, to an orchard and food growing areas, to a doorstep play area featuring table tennis and toddler play.
