This project, for the environmental charity Thames21 and London Borough of Haringey, introduces a network of raingardens in an existing small public park.

The raingardens are carefully located between the root zones of mature trees and are seeded with wildflower meadow species.  They collect and treat polluted runoff from the adjacent busy road, losing most of it into the ground and ensuring that the cocktail of highway pollutants don’t reach the poor Moselle River that runs nearby and which used to receive the same road runoff.
