This project demonstrates how SuDS can be used to enhance the amenity value of green space by retrofitting a formal raingarden and two large grass basins within existing underused spaces between housing blocks.
Beauty and play have been woven into the designs and a rainchain emphasises the disconnection of existing rainwater pipes, turning the flow of rainwater into a dynamic focal feature.
