This collaboration with muf Architecture Art and Civic engineers provided a dramatic improvement in the public realm, reducing carriageway width and introducing improved permeability for pedestrians as well as creating significant new planted features.
All this and the project also reduces flooding and pollution to the suffering Moselle River through the integration of striking bioretention raingardens to collect and treat polluted road runoff and extensive permeable paved pedestrian surfaces.
